Brazil’s president Jair Bolsonaro goes after De Blasio: a ‘radical’ who’d receive him in the ‘worst possible’ way

The president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, told lawmakers during a breakfast meeting on Thursday that he is, in fact, very happy that he won’t have to come to New York City. The ultra-conservative politician was supposed to attend an event in Manhattan on May 14 to receive the “Person of the Year” award by the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce.
